HAVER & BOECKER Australia introduces leasing option for innovative mineral processing vibration analysis technology

HAVER & BOECKER Australia has launched a three-year leasing option for its innovative mineral processing vibration analysis programme, Pulse – giving mining and aggregate customers the opportunity to discover the productivity benefits the technology can deliver to their mineral processing operations.

Developed by HAVER & BOECKER Australia’s sister company HAVER & BOECKER Canada and launched to the Australian market in mid 2015, Pulse is an innovative vibration analysis service programme that gives mineral processing operations valuable insight into the performance of their vibrating screens.

Sensors attached to key areas on the screening machine send up to 24 channels of data wirelessly to an industrial-grade tablet computer to immediately illustrate the machine’s orbit, acceleration, deviations and more, enabling the identification of inefficiencies. The reporting and historical tracking of the machine’s performance via Pulse gives customers the information needed to maximise uptime and productivity — significant contributors to profitability.

Leasing is available in basic and professional options to suit both small and large operations. Both programs include an industrial-grade tablet computer, eight tri-axial sensors for the vibrating screens, a monthly maintenance package and optional expert analysis reports.

“We understand screening equipment is a significant portion of an operation’s budget, which is why we developed the Pulse leasing programme,” said Jan Averhaus, Operations Manager at HAVER & BOECKER Australia.

“The Pulse leasing option offers customers the tools to optimise screening efficiency on a daily basis. This helps increase their operations’ profitability by minimising downtime as well as maintenance costs.

“We have been leasing a Pulse system on a trial basis to a global mining company in Australia, which has now purchased a unit following the success of the program.”   Pulse was designed for easy setup and operation in the difficult environments where screening takes place.

For an additional cost, the HAVER & BOECKER engineering team will analyse the results and provide the customer with a report that includes a thorough examination of the machine’s performance and recommendations for improvement. If the results require further examination, a HAVER & BOECKER technician will schedule an on-site inspection.
